¼ cup granulated sugar
1 ½ Tbsps Baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 egg
2 cups milk
2 Tbsps butter (melted and slightly cooled)
vegetable oil (for pan)
1 cup fresh Blueberries (for garnish)
1 bunch green Grape (for garnish)

Preparation steps

In a large bowl, mix and sift dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, beat egg and add milk. Slowly pour egg and milk mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly, add butter stirring to blend.

Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat; brush griddle or skillet with vegetable oil. Ladle the batter onto the griddle or skillet to the desired size. When you start to see air bubbles pop up and the edges look cooked (after about 2 to 3 minutes), turn and cook the other side for about 1 or 2 minutes longer. Griddlecakes should be a golden brown on both sides and done in the middle.

Divide among plates. Garnish with blueberries and grapes or fruit of your choosing. Serve hot with butter and maple syrup.
