- 500 grams Tomatoes
- 4 small, mild Pepperoncini
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 small yellow onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 200 grams Long grain rice
- Cumin (ground)
- 400 milliliters clear Broth (Instant)
- 1 jar Corn kernel (230g)
- 200 grams Garlic sausage (or chorizo)
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro (or chopped parsley)

Preparation steps
1.
Cut tomatoes crosswise. Blanch for 1 minute in boiling water, shock and remove skins. Cut tomatoes into pieces. Cut pepperoncini and chile pepper in half, remove seeds and dice.

Peel onion, cut in half and then into wedges. Peel garlic and chop. Heat oil and saute onion, garlic, rice, pepperoncini and chile pepper for a few minutes. Stir in cumin and tomato.
3.
Pour broth and add corn. Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Cut garlic sausage into slices and fry in a pan.
4.
Mix into rice and season with salt and pepper. Serve garnished with cilantro.
