- 750 grams mixed Ground meat (pork, beef, lamb or veal)
- 2 eggs
- 2 onions
- 1 day-old White roll
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 Tbsps scallions
- 2 Tbsps chopped fresh parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 carrots
- 3 Tbsps clarified butter
- 3 hard-boiled eggs
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps

Soak the roll in water.

Peel and finely dice the onion, garlic and carrots. Cook vegetables and bay leaf in a little clarified butter until softened. Remove the bay leaf from the mixture. Squaeeze the excess water from the roll, and mix well with the vegetables, parsley and chives. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread half of the meat miture into a greased loaf pan. Peel hard- boiled eggs, and lightly press into the meatloaf, then top with remaining meat mixture, pressing it down slightly and smoothing it out as necessary.

Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) on the middle shelf for about 45 minutes. Serve immediately.
