- ½ Celery root
- 600 grams Beef (such as brisket, one shoulder, or -keule)
- 500 grams Beef bone (such as bovine bone)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp peppercorns

Preparation steps
1.
Chop the onions, bay leaf and clove. Rinse and coarsely chop the soup vegetables. Place the meat, bone and vegetables in a large pot. Pour in enough cold water to cover everything. Bring to a boil and season with salt and peppercorns. Cook over medium heat for about 2 hours. Skim off the foam and stirr occasionally. Pour the broth through a sieve and serve.
