Meat and Pepper Rolls
The unique appetizer if full of protein from the meat, energizing carbs from the pastry, and nutrients like antioxidants from the peppers.
Serve with a side salad for a well rounded dinner.
Heat the oven to 425°F. Grease a baking tray.
Lay the pastry sheets out in 2’s (one on top of the other) on a lightly floured surface and roll out to rectangles of about 8" x 12".
Spread with the filling, leaving a margin of about 1/2" around the edges. Fold the pastry in on the narrow sides and roll up from the long side.
Bake for about 25 minutes, until golden brown. Cool slightly and cut into 2" pieces.
