Preparation steps

Squeeze the lemons. Peel and thinly slice the ginger. Bring the juice and ginger to a boil with the sugar and 7 ounces of water. Remove from the heat and let steep for 15 minutes. Pass the mixture through a fine strainer and chill for 1 hour.

Rinse and dry the fruit. Thinly slice, and place in glasses, alternating to form layers. Mix the lemonade with the mineral water, then pour into the glasses and serve.
