3 Tbsps grated Lemon peel (approximately 6-7 lemons)

Preparation steps

Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, and some mint to a bowl. Add 300 ml (approximately 10 ounces) of water to the bowl, cover, and let infuse overnight.

Add the sugar and 300 ml (approximately 10 ounces) of water to a saucepan. Heat the mixture, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Pass the lemon juice mixture through a fine strainer. Add the sugar syrup and mix until combined. Transfer to a pitcher and chill until ready to serve. Fill a few glasses with ice cubes, and top with the lemonade. Garnish with the lemon slices and the mint, and serve.
