- wooden Skewer (soaked in cold water for 20 minutes)
- 2 dozens large, raw shrimp (shelled with tails intact deveined)
- 2 Tbsps fresh lemon juice
- freshly ground Black pepper
- Oil (for the grill grate)
- 3 cups cooked Rice
- 1 fresh lemon sliced (for garnish)
- For Cocktail Sauce
- ½ cup Ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Horseradish
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)

Preparation steps

Preheat gas grill to medium high.

Rinse shrimp under cold running water. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.

Thread shrimp onto prepared wooden skewers. Brush the shrimp on both sides with lemon juice and sprinkle with cracked black pepper.

Brush the hot grill grate with oil. Cook shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Serve on a bed of cooked rice. Garnish with sliced lemon and homemade cocktail sauce.
