12 Meat chops (lamb)
Juice of half lemons
125 milliliters Red wine

Preparation steps

Peel the garlic and onion and chop very finely. Rinse the thyme, remove half and set aside. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems. Combine the olive oil with garlic, onion, thyme and pepper. Rub onto the lamb chops. Covered and let soak for 1 hour.

In a pan, brown the chops on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt. Shortly before the end of cooking, drizzle with lemon juice and pour in the red wine. Add the remaining thyme to red wine and let stew briefly and remove it. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Serve the lamb chops with the sauce and thyme.
