8 Cherry tomatoes ((red and yellow)
½ red onion
100 grams Feta
4 Lettuce (such as Frisée)
1 slice Toast
2 garlic cloves
400 grams Ground lamb
1 egg yolk
4 Tbsps freshly chopped Fresh herbs (mint and parsley)
salt
freshly ground peppers
breadcrumbs (as needed)
4 Tbsps vegetable oil
4 Ciabatta

Preparation steps

Rinse and halve the cherry tomatoes. Peel the onion, cut into quarters and cut into strips. Crumble the feta. Rinse the lettuce, shake dry and pluck leaves.

Soak the white bread slices in lukewarm water. Peel the garlic, chop finely. Add the garlic, egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of herbs to the ground lamb in a bowl. Add the squeezed bread to the ground lamb mixture and season with salt and pepper. Knead to a well-moldable mixture. If necessary, add the breadcrumbs to achieve the desired consistency. Form 4 patties from the mixture and fry in hot oil for about 3 minutes per side.

Cut the ciabatta rolls in half. Top bottom halves with lettuce, patty, feta, onion strips and cherry tomatoes.Place the top halves over and serve sprinkled with fresh herbs.
