Preparation steps

Add the oil to a heavy saucepan, and heat on high. Add in the popcorn, cover, and wait until you hear the "popping" begin. Reduce the heat to medium and shake off and on, until the corn is fully popped. Move to a bowl, sprinkle on salt, and serve warm.
