These homemade chips are as delicious as store-bought varieties, but don't have any of the preservatives. 

You can also use an air fryer for this recipe.

10 ozs starchy potatoes
Vegetable fat (for frying)
salt
white peppers (ground)

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into equally thin slices with the wavy blade of a vegetable slicer.

Lay the slices immediately in cold water and leave for 20 minutes. Drain and pat dry individually with paper towels.

Fry in portions, in a fryer or a large pan in some oil, at 350ºF. Drain on paper towels and serve seasoned with salt and pepper.

If you don't have a vegetable slicer just use a sharp knife and cut very thin slices. They won't be wavy, but still delicious!
 
This is incredible! Making potato chips from scratch. I don't have a vegetable slicer, what other tools could I use to make thin slices?
