500 grams waxy potatoes
½ small Green cabbage (1 kg)
4 hardboiled eggs
200 grams Smoked ham
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
salt
freshly ground peppers
ground Caraway
ground cilantro
500 milliliters Beef broth

Preparation steps

Peel and rinse potatoes. Rinse cabbage and remove stalk, separate leaves. Peel eggs and cut into slices. Cut ham into slices.

Heat oil in a heavy pan (such as cast iron). Alternate layers of cabbage leaves, potatoes, eggs and bacon. Season with salt, pepper, cumin powder and coriander powder. Finish with ham layer. Add broth until everything is just covered. Place pot into a cold oven. Heat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F) and cook for about 1.5 hours. Add broth as needed. Serve.
