1 Tbsp thyme
18 ozs Hazelnuts

Preparation steps

1.

Pour honey into a saucepan and heat on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add hazelnuts and thyme and simmer for another 20-25 minutes. Place a drop of hot honey nut mixture into a glass of ice-cold water. If drop freezes immediately, brittle is ready.  

2.

Spread baking sheet approximately 8 x 10 inches lined with parchment paper. Spread honey and hazelnut mixture on paper and smooth. Cool and separate from paper. Cut into cubes and serve placed into paper candy liners.
