- 200 grams sugar
- 250 grams Peanuts (unsalted)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- vegetable oil (for sheet pan)

Preparation steps
1.
Mix the maple syrup with the sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the peanuts, salt and butter and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
2.
Oil a baking sheet. Remove the pan from the heat and thoroughly stir in the baking soda. Pour the brittle onto the baking sheet spreading it thinly. Let cool until hardened. Serve the brittle broken into pieces.
