2 large, sub Rolls
2 Tbsps Mayonnaise (or mustard)
fresh Lettuce (rinsed and dried)
1 large, ripe Tomato (rinsed and sliced)
8 slices deli Cheese (American; Provolone; Swiss; etc.)
8 slices deli ham
salt (to taste)
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)

Preparation steps

Slice the sub rolls in half lengthwise. Spread the cut side of each roll with mayonnaise, mustard or your favorite condiment. On the bottom half of each roll, layer lettuce, tomato, cheese and folded ham slices. Season to taste with salt and pepper and drizzle with oil (optional). Sandwich with the remaining roll half and serve with pickles and chips.
