Preparation steps

Rinse and scrub potatoes thoroughly. Cook potatoes in salted boiling water, about 15 minutes. Drain and let steam evaporate. Cut bacon into 1 cm thick (approximately 1/2 inch) slices. Thread potatoes and bacon alternately onto skewers.
