- 2 large Corn
- salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ Red Bell pepper
- 1 scallion
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 day-old White roll
- 1 shallot
- 2 Tbsps parsley (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp marjoram (chopped)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp ground paprika (sweet)
- 1 Tbsp strong Mustard
- 1 Tbsp Ketchup
- 400 grams mixed Ground meat
- 1 Tbsp breadcrumbs
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 Tbsp butter
Preparation steps
Peel, clean and cook corn in salted water with sugar for about 15 minutes.
Rinse bell pepper and scallion. Cut into small pieces.
Soak bread in lukewarm water. Peel shallots, finely chop and saute in 1 tablespoon oil. Add chopped parsley and marjoram and cool slightly. Mix minced meat with egg, expressed bread, paprika, mustard and ketchup. Add breadcrumbs if moisture is too moist. Season heavily with salt and pepper. Shape into 4 patties and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Cut corn into 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) thick slices. Brush with a little butter and grill for 8-12 minutes, turning as needed. Mix bell pepper and scallion with remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 5 minutes in a grill pan.
Serve patties with bell pepper mixture and corn.
