Ingredients
- Ingredients
- 600 grams Beef fillet
- 6 Tbsps vegetable oil
- ground Turmeric
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 bunches scallions
- 1 small Baguette
- 200 grams Emmentaler cheese (in one piece)
- 125 milliliters Whipped cream
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
Preparation steps
Cut the beef fillet into thin strips. Mix the oil with ground turmeric and cayenne pepper. Rub the beef strips with the oil mixture and let marinate for about 3 hours, turning from time to time.
Trim, rinse and cut the scallions into very fine rings. Put the scallions into a bowl. Cut the baguette into slices and toast on a preheated raclette grill.
Grate the cheese coarsely. Beat the cream until stiff and mix in the grated cheese. Add the cheese-cream mixture into the marinated beef strips.
Place the scallions on the preheated raclette grill and place the marinated beed over. Season with salt and pepper and cover with the remaining cheese-cream. Grill the beef strips until the cheese-cream begins to brown slightly.
Serve the grilled beef strips with toasted baguette slices.
