8 cups Mixed Mushrooms (e. g. oyster, cep, button, shiitake)
2 cloves garlic cloves (chopped)
2 ½ Tbsps butter
1 cup cream
1 Tbsp Crème fraiche
2 Tbsps parsley (chopped)
salt
freshly ground peppers
Nutmeg (freshly grated)
8 slices Bread
olive oil

Preparation steps

1.
Clean the mushrooms. Cut into thick slices or leave whole, depending on the size of the mushrooms.
2.
Heat the butter in a large frying pan and sauté half of the mushrooms. Now add the remaining mushrooms and fry until golden brown.
3.
Add the garlic to the mushrooms. Season with nutmeg and freshly milled pepper.
4.
Pour in the cream and simmer, then add the creme fraiche and season with salt.
5.
In the meantime toast the slices of bread in a grill pan.
6.
Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the mushrooms, season to taste and serve on warmed plates with the toasted bread.
