- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 day-old Bread roll (softened in lukewarm water)
- 2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 Tbsp hot Mustard
- 1 egg
- 4 cups minced mixed Meat
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil
Fry the onion in butter until translucent. Squeeze the excess moisture out of the roll and, in a bowl, mix together the onion, bread, parsley, marjoram, mustard, egg and minced meat.
Form the mixture into patties and fry on each side in hot oil for 3-4 minutes. Serve with potato salad.
