- 10 ozs Raspberries
- 10 ozs Cherries
- ½ lemon (juiced)
- 6 ozs powdered sugar
- 6 ozs Red wine
- 8 leaflets Lemon balm

Preparation steps

Rinse and dry the raspberries. Rinse and pit the cherries. Set aside 4 ounces of each fruit for garnishing.
Combine the rest of fruit with the lemon juice, powdered sugar, and red wine and puree.
Strain through a sieve, pour into a metal bowl and cover with aluminum foil. Freeze the mixture in the freezer for 2-3 hours, stirring with a fork every hour.

Rinse the lemon balm, pat dry and cut the leaves into strips. To serve, divide the reserved fruit onto dessert plates and garnish with the lemon balm. Scoop the granita onto the plates and serve.
