1 Mortar, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Bowl, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Small bowl, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Paper towel

Preparation steps

1.
Dissolve the sugar in 600 ml water. Add the remaining ingredients except the sultanas and simmer for 20 minutes. Do not allow to boil.
2.
Pour the mulled wine into toddy glasses each containing a few brandy-soaked sultanas.
