wooden Skewer (soaked in cold water for 30 minutes)
2 Pear (washed; cored and cut into bite-size chunks)
2 Apricot (washed; halved; pit removed)
2 ripe Figs (washed and halved)
2 Mangoes (washed; halved; pit removed and cut into bite-size chunks)
2 Tbsps butter (melted)
2 Tbsps brown sugar
½ cup balsamic vinegar
Oil (for brushing the grill)

Preparation steps

1.
Place the prepared fruit in a large bowl. Drizzle fruit with melted butter, gently tossing to coat fruit. Sprinkle with brown sugar, tossing once again to coat. Set aside.

In a small saucepan, simmer the balsamic vinegar over low heat until reduced by half, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.

Prepare the grill for direct grilling. Preheat to medium heat.
4.
Thread the prepared fruit onto the presoaked wooden skewers.
5.
When ready to cook, brush the grill grate lightly with oil.
6.
Arrange the skewered fruit on oiled grill grate. Grill until the sugar caramelizes, about 3 to 5 minutes, turning once.
7.
Transfer fruit from grill onto individual serving plates. Drizzle with balsamic syrup. Serve immediately.
