2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 Tbsps ground almonds
ground cinnamon
4 tsps Rum
¼ cup sugar
2 eggs (separated)
¼ cup butter
½ cup flour
¼ cup milk

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C in a fan oven) 350°F, gas 4 and grease four oven-proof pudding basins.
2.
Mix together the apples, lemon juice, almonds, cinnamon, rum and 2 tbsp sugar.
3.
Beat the egg whites until stiff.
4.
Mix the remaining sugar with the butter until creamy and then add the egg yolks one by one. Alternately add flour and then milk and then finally fold in the egg whites. Stir in the apple mixture and fill the mixture into the pudding basins. Bake for 35-40 until golden brown.
