250 grams Fontina cheese
125 milliliters milk
2 Tbsps butter
3 egg yolks
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Cut the cheese into cubes. Mix with the milk, and melt in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. 

2.

Increase the temperature. Add 1 egg yolk, and continue stirring until the mixture is completely smooth. Repeat this process with the remaining egg yolk. Season to taste with pepper. This sauce goes well served with pasta.
