Exotic Melon Salad
Halve and seed the cantaloupe. Cut out melon balls with a melon baller. Drain lychees and halve. Boil water and sugar over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Boil until syrupy.
Add lemon juice. Arrange fruit in a bowl and pour on the syrup. Let sit for half and hour, stirring occasionally. Serve cold.
