7 ozs sugar
2 Limes

Preparation steps

1.

Add the tea to an infuser, then place in a pot with 1 liter (approximately 1 quart) of 160°F water. Discard the first infusion, then brew again with hot water. Let steep for 2-3 minutes. Remove the strainer, add the sugar, and let cool.

Squeeze the lime, and add the juice to the tea.

Place in a shallow bowl, then place in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes, to ensure that no large ice crystals form. Freeze 3-4 hours total.

Divide the granita into glasses, and stir with crushed ice if you wish. Garnish with lime wedges and serve.
