4 Tbsps all-purpose flour
1 egg (beaten)
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 Camembert (cut into 8 wedges)
sunflower oil (for deep-frying)

Preparation steps

1.
Put the flour, egg and panko breadcrumbs in 3 separate bowls. Dip the Camembert wedges alternately in the flour, egg and breadcrumbs and shake off any excess.

Heat the oil in a deep fat fryer, according to the manufacturer’s instructions, to a temperature of 180°C | 350°F.

Lower the Camembert in the fryer basket and cook for 4 – 5 minutes or until crisp and golden brown. Tip the Camembert into a kitchen paper lined bowl to remove any excess oil and serve immediately.
