1 Tbsp Cardamom
1 tsp ground Cardamom
2 stalks cinnamon
1 stalk Vanilla
6 cloves
½ tsp white peppers (ground)
brown sugar (to sweeten)

Preparation steps

1.

Chop the dates coarsely and soak in water in a pot. Add the spices to the dates and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 30-50 minutes, and let reduce to about half.

2.

Pour the tea through a sieve into a jug, and keep the dates aside.

3.

Pour 1 liter (approximately 5 cups) of hot water into the tea and stir in the brown sugar.

4.

Serve to taste with dates in glasses and garbish each glass with a cinnamon stick.
