Preparation steps

1.

Peel onion and cut into cubes. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onions and cashews over medium heat for 2-4 minutes.

Add rice to pan, stir in raisins, curry powder, turmeric and cinnamon stick and pour in broth. Cook 20-25 minutes over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the broth is consumed and the rice is al dente.
