3 Tbsps Sake (Rice wine) or dry sherry
4 Tbsps soy sauce
500 grams Chicken wing
500 grams green Asparagus
salt
1 pc white Daikon radish

Preparation steps

1.

Stir together sugar with rice wine and soy sauce until sugar has dissolved. Brush mixture onto chicken wings and let marinate about 1 hour.

Rinse asparagus and snap off woody ends. Cook in boiling salted water, 12-15 minutes.

3.

Peel and finely grate radish.

4.

Preheat broiler. Broil chicken wings, watching carefully. Turn frequently and brush with marinade. Cook until chicken wings are crispy, 10-12 minutes. 

5.

Serve chicken wings over asparagus and radish.
