200 grams yellow Lentils

2 Tbsps Soy yogurt
1 tsp Cumin

Preparation steps

1.

Peel and finely dice onion, ginger and garlic. Add to a saucepan, along with lentils and 400-450 ml (approximately 1 3/4 to 2 cups) salted water. Bring to a boil and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 12 minutes.

Mash lentils with a potato masher and let cool slightly. Stir in soy yogurt and cumin and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice and turmeric. Serve lentils with flatbread, if desired.
