- 400 grams carrots
- 250 grams starchy potatoes
- 2 Tbsps sunflower oil
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 600 milliliters Vegetable broth
- 100 milliliters Orange juice
- 150 milliliters Whipped cream
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- Chili powder
- carrots (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Peel and dice the carrots and potatoes. Saute for 1-2 minutes in hot oil. Add the ginger and turmeric and saute briefly. Pour in the broth and orange juice. Let simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the cream and puree the soup finely. Depending on the desired consistency, let simmer or add more broth. Season with lemon juice, salt and chile powder.
3.
Serve garnished with carrot strips.
