- 7 Satsumas
- 6 cups cox Apple (cored and diced)
- ½ cup cold water
- 2 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Tbsp cloves
- 1 Tbsp caster sugar
Preparation steps
1.
Peel six of the satsumas. Slice the seventh and reserve as a garnish.
2.
Pulse the satsumas in a food processor or blender until broken down.
3.
Add the apple and water and blend until smooth and pureed. Pass the mixture through a sieve into a saucepan.
4.
Add the spices and sugar, stir well, and cook over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
5.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and leave the spices to steep for 1 hour.
6.
Chill and serve the juice with a garnish of satsuma and spices.
