Wash the bottles and tops in hot soapy water, rinse well and put in a low oven to dry and become warm, then cool.
Preparation steps
1.
Thinly pare the zest of 3 lemons and put into a large bowl.
2.
Squeeze the juice from 6 lemons and add to the bowl with the sugar and water. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Cover and chill overnight.
3.
Put the lemon slices and a few mint leaves into cold sterilised bottles
4.
Strain the lemonade through a sieve into the bottles. Seal tightly, label and keep chilled
