- 4 Chicken breasts (600 g)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 pkg Tomatoes (with herbs, about 370 g)
- 125 milliliters dry Red wine
- 1 Tbsp oregano (freshly chopped)
- 2 Tbsps green Olives (pitted)

Preparation steps
1.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and fry in hot oil, about 8 minutes. Remove from pan and wrap in aluminum foil to keep warm.
2.
Peel and chop onion. In the oil remaining in the pan, fry onion. Add tomato pieces and wine, season with salt and pepper and simmer about 5 minutes. Taste for seasonings.
3.
Stir in oregano and olives. Unwrap chicken breasts and add any accumulated juice to the sauce.
4.
Cut chicken breasts diagonally and serve with the sauce.
5.
Serve with noodles, if desired.
