Cheese Pizza
Preparation steps
For the dough: whisk yeast with 125 ml (approximately 1/2 cup) of lukewarm water and sugar until smooth. Combine with flour, salt and olive oil and knead into a smooth, pliable dough. Cover nad let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
For the topping; peel onions and cut into thin rings.
Knead dough again on floured work surface and spread evenly on an oiled pizza pan, making an edge slightly thicker. Drizzle with olive oil.
Spread with onion rings, cheese, and basil, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with remaining oil.
Bake in preheated oven at 220°C (approximately 425°F) for about 20 minutes. If pizza brown too much, cover with aluminum foil.
Toast pine nuts in a dry pan. Remove pizza from the oven and sprinkle with pine nuts. Serve.
