1 onion
1 garlic clove
8 slices Bacon

1 ½ Tbsps freshly chopped Chervil
4 slices Farmhouse bread (halved)
8 slices Smoked cheese

Preparation steps

1.

Clean the mushrooms and coarsely chop. Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Cook the bacon in a dry skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels, reserving the pan and rendered bacon fat. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally until translucent. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until the mushroom liquid has evaporated completely.

Season with salt and pepper and stir in the chopped chervil.

Arrange the bacon and musrhooms on plates and serve with bread and cheese.
