Preparation steps

Rinse the apples, quarter and remove the core. Cut the quarters into slices. Mix with the lemon juice. Heat the butter with the sugar in a pan until the sugar is caramelized. Cut the vanilla pods in half and stir with the cinnamon into the caramel. Add the apples and cook briefly. Deglaze with the rum. Remove from the heat and let stand for about 5 minutes.

Serve with the raspberries. May also be served with whipped cream or cinnamon ice cream.
