6 Tbsps olive oil
2 Tbsps balsamic vinegar

Preparation steps

1.

Drain the mozzarella and thinly slice. Rinse the tomatoes, and slice. Remove the leaves from the basil. Layer the mozzarella, tomato, and basil like roof tiles on a plate or in a dish.

Mix the oil with the balsamic, and season with salt and pepper. Pass the garlic through a press, and add to the mixture. Drizzle the marinade over the salad. Slice the olives, and sprinkle over the salad for a garnish.
