Preparation steps

1.

Mix the sugar with the juice and heat until dissolved. Remove from the heat, allow to cool in a cold water bath, until the syrup has thickened.

2.

Rinse the apples, pat dry and insert a wooden stick in the center. Dip into the syrup and roll in almonds. Place in the refrigerator to chill and serve when fully hardened.
