Brussles Sprouts with Bacon
Rinse the Brussels sprouts and blanch in a pot of boiling salted water with lemon slices for 10 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water and drain well.
Depending on their size, halve or quarter the chestnuts.
Heat the oil in a skillet. Cut the bacon into cubes and saute until beginning to crisp, then add the Brussels sprouts and chestnuts and cook until the Brussels sprouts are tender, about 5 minutes. Season with ginger, chile, pepper and salt.
