½ Vanilla bean (halved lengthways, seeds scrapped out)
1 ⅔ cups green Gooseberry
1 ⅔ cups Red currant
½ cup sugar
¼ cup dry Red wine

Preparation steps

1.
Place the vanilla pod and seeds in a pot with the berries, sugar, 5 tbsp water and the wine and cook for 4 minutes.
