Preparation steps

1.

For the fish: Rinse the fish, pat dry and cut into serving pieces (each approximately 80 grams) (approximately 3 ounces). Stir the flour with the beer until smooth and mix in the eggs. The batter should not be too thin, so possibly add a little less beer. Let rest for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Dip each fish piece in the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

2.

For the sauce: Peel the garlic, finely chop and mash finely with the almonds in a blender. Soak the bread in lukewarm water, squeeze it well and mix into the garlic and almonds. Peel and mash the potatoes and add to the garlic mixture. Mix everything with the oil into a smooth paste and season with lime juice, salt and pepper and serve with the baked fish pieces.
