800 grams Goulash meat
100 grams ham (sliced)
4 Tbsps clarified butter
2 carrots
2 Pickled cucumbers
2 onions
1 Leek
1 tsp Caraway
500 milliliters light beer
salt
freshly ground pepper
2 Tbsps parsley (chopped)

Preparation steps

Peel and slice carrots.

Cut pickles into sticks.

Peel onions and chop finely.

4.

Rinse leek and cut into rings.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan and brown meat, few pieces at a time, and remove from the pan. Add carrots, onions and ham to the pan and saute for a few minutes. Season with caraway seeds and add leek, saute briefly. Return meat to the pan and saute briefly. Deglaze pan with half of beer and simmer, covered, for about 1 hour. Add remaining beer gradually (and some water, if necessary). Add pickles and simmer for 30 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper and serve sprinkled with parsley.
