- 2 ½ kilograms Beef rib
- sunflower oil (for brushing)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 2 Red chili peppers
- 50 grams honey
- 1 tsp salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 4 Tbsps Tomato paste
- 2 Tbsps Wine vinegar
- Tabasco sauce

Preparation steps

Rinse the ribs, pat dry and separate. Place in boiling water and simmer for about 20 minutes over low heat. Drain and pat dry. Peel the garlic and onion, and chop coarsely. Rinse the chiles, cut in half, remove seeds and finely chop. Add the chiles to a pot with the onion, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper, tomato paste, vinegar and Tabasco, and boil with 200 ml (approximately 7 ounces) of water. Allow to simmer for about 10 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.

Brush the ribs with a little oil and grill for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Brush with the sauce a few times while grilling, and serve with grilled corn on the cob.
