400 grams Spinach
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 Tbsp butter
80 grams grated Emmentaler cheese
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and dry tomatoes, cut off lids and scoop out seeds. Season tomatoes inside with salt and pepper.

Peel onion and cut into small cubes. Peel garlic and chop finely.

Rinse and spin dry spinach. 

4.

Heat butter in a pan and saute onion and garlic for a few minutes, add spinach and saute, stirring, for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat, cool slightly. Combine spinach with cheese and stuff tomatoes with the mixture. Arrange tomatoes in a greased baking pan and bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 15 minutes.

Garnish with basil and serve.
