- 1 kilogram Butternut squash (or Hokkaido)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 3 garlic cloves
- olive oil (for brushing)
- Balsamic glaze (as desired)
Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F) convection. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.

Halve the pumpkin, remove the seeds, peel and cut into 1-2 cm (approximately 1/2 to 1 inch) wide wedges.

Drizzle the wedges with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
4.
Place the pumpkin pieces in a baking dish.
5.
Peel the garlic, finely chop and distribute over the pumpkin pieces. Simmer the whole thing in the oven 20-30 minutes, turning 2-3 times. Arrange the pumpkin pieces in a bowl.
6.
As desired drizzle the pumpkin pieces with a little balsamic glaze and stir in.
