- 4 baking potatoes (scrubbed)
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 ½ tsps garlic cloves (finely minced)
- ¾ tsp Italian seasoning
- ⅛ tsp Onion powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 Tbsps fresh Chives (snipped)
- 1 ½ cups whipped cream cheese

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 375º F.

Prick the potatoes with a fork. Brush with oil and sprinkle with salt. Wrap loosely in foil and place in a preheated oven, directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, or until the flesh is soft when pierced with a fork.

While potatoes are baking, in a medium bowl, combine garlic, Italian seasoning, onion salt, salt and snipped chives. Gently fold in the whipped cream cheese.

Allow the flavors to blend by storing in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
5.
Remove potatoes from the oven and unwrap foil. Slit the potatoes lengthwise and fill with herbed cream cheese. Serve.
